My name is Christina Victoria and I am the founder of Rose & Raine. R&R is named after my two daughters, OliviaRose & DakotaRaine. They are both my motivation and inspiration for the brand. After losing my youngest daughter, Dakota, to still birth; I quickly realised how fragile life can be. This experience taught me that simple, everyday moments are truly the ones that shape us, bring us together and make life worth living. Growing up in a Latin American home, my fondest childhood memories were created around the dinner table. My mother cooked amazing, flavourful dishes and my dad made us belly laugh for hours around the dinner table. Food was always at the heart of all our conversations.
The Tatiana Collection is named after my mother, who taught me everything I know about cooking. Some of my earliest childhood memories involve me standing on a chair in her kitchen and helping pour, knead or stir. Thank you for sharing your passion with me, mom.
It is because of my background, upbringing, life experiences, love for food and togetherness that Rose & Raine was born.
Our first collection is a 4-piece dinnerware set, including a dinner plate, side plate, cereal bowl and mug/saucer set. Made from durable materials, this range is perfect for any style of cooking. While being microwave, dishwasher and oven safe, it is also refined and delicate in design. With its scalloped edges and tea-stained finish, this classic range works with any colour scheme, interior style and tablescape.
My hope is to continue to grow my brand by slowly adding carefully considered products to my range. With a strong belief in collaboration over competition, I hope to use Rose & Raine to work with local brands and creators to design products, create events, workshops, pop-ups and more in the hope of building community.
